Size: 84.2 KB I bid on this one before i knew what i was doing. I've bought from this source before so i made an offer and it was accepted. Now i'm looking forward to playing with the new-old toy. I do think this will be the last one for a while i'm seeing less bone and ivory on the bay. I've had one or two of this brand before and they turned out to be good shavers . i did let them go after i honed them and shaved with them a few times. The other side looks as clean as this side and i do hope it doesn't get cracked in shipping. Oh i almost forgot it's a Warranted brand. Sheffield.

Have we not seen this acquisition?

And No. You shall never learn!

This one came today and it's really better than the photos. I know I'm comparing apples to oranges but I shaved this morning with a 7/8 Dorko very thin blade and it did a very poor job. I think I may be one that likes a thicker blade even it's 5/8. I think there more forgiving. It's hard for me to get the angle just right every time. the thinner blades seems to flex a little around the jaw line.

The etching is nice and bold on the first one! So where are your pictures? You say it looks even better but did you have to clean it up at all?
I have found, like you, that I definitely prefer a wedge blade over a hollow grind. Less feedback, but more forgiving!

The 5/8 Warranted razor that i got today i did not have to clean it up. All i've done is give it a coat of SRD razor oil and wrap it in wax paper. I'll let it sit for a couple of days and then clean the oil off it and disinfect it with alcohol and hone. I do wish i knew how to remove a photo that was put on by mistake.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you make me feel ok with my level of RAD.

Love the new acquisitions, btw. I have been loving the full hollows lately and have shied away from the heavier grinds for the last couple of months.

Can't wait to see what you get next, our taste is very similar.

Edit post, delete the bit in square brackets that says something like attach. For your post it would be the second one.

Click on edit, then click on go advanced, then on manage attachments. On the photo you wish to delete, you can scroll to the top right of it & there will be an option to do so. Then click save. I've had to do it many times.
