I was lucky enough to acquire this downright beautiful razor from a "buy it now" auction on eBay. The seller was asking $19.99obo. I immediately ended the auction at the full asking price. The purchase was a risk, even at $19.99. The image was grainy and taken from far back, and submitting a question may cause me to lose out on something potentially nice due to wasted time.

Now the razor that I received, is definitely something I did not expect. I'm not good at judging age, but going by the coffin box, I'd guess mid 1800ish? I can't find any information on the company, any advice is welcome. Regardless, this is a very old blade. But it truly doesn't show. The steel does not have one bit of pitting or tarnish. The only thing I needed to do was tighten the pins. And yes, the wedge is lead. Enough blabbering!

I present the JB Richards Argyle St 3/4" Near Wedge with original matching coffin
