This is going on right now. brutalized the chips and cracks on 120 grit wet dry put on top of a lapped carbo as a backing. These always had spines too thin relative to height so I rolled the dice grinding 1/8 off. Bevel calculations are still within range. Bevel bevel! These are just about the most fun blades to hone as far as I'm concerned. Still mounting fine in the razor as well.

Btw, for those curious. Kind of sits on a hone like a typical hollow ground so the design is actually working well.

The camera can do some funny things, as to my eyes, the edge looks like it is hooked where the bevel meets the hone. It isn't, just looks like it.

Yep, optical illusion from the upturned toe being head on. Normal Sheffield honing rules apply, rolling x required. Wostenholm's grindings consistently impress me. Fastidious by Sheffield standards.
