Size: 44.2 KB I saw this one on the band and noticed the small spots all over it. With out thinking i made an offer for it and then doubt set in. You know you can't really tell much from some photos. The spots looked small and i guessed what the scales were made of. Now i know my limitations and wondered if i could make look half way decent. I showed it to a friend and we decided to let it go. I went to bed just about knowing my offer would not be accepted because it was considerably lower than the asking price. I was wrong. I cked my email the next day and found my offer was accepted. Well i made the offer so i completed the deal and waited for the pitted peace of steel to get here. Well it did. I took simicrome and soft cloth and started to clean. To my suprize all the dark spots rubbed off. They were dryed up oil or grease. No rust at all. the scales were what i thought and in good shape. no cracks or chips . I'm now at odds as what to do. It looks like it has never been used. No hone marks that i can see. It is a part of a 7 day set because the day Tuesday is on the spine. I oiled it wrapped in wax paper and put it in the safe. I wish i had this kind of luck when i use to gamble.

When i set the light box up i will post a new photo.

I wish. I'm still debating on whether or not to find out how this one shaves.

It's a Joseph Rodgers .......... it will shave great if it is honed to shave ready .......
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Lucky indeed, usually things tend to be worse than they looked when they arrive. Might as well use it.

Very nice - I have an interesting twin boxed set of similar razors scaled in ivory - wonderful shavers, near wedge grind.

With the prices and what's available now, I'm feeling pretty good about my 2 year long RAD binge.....and in terms of my RAD, I only feel like I'm maturing, growing more fully into it....
