The only treatment for RAD is to buy more razors. Just to be safe, buy shaving-related items as well like the bottles you have shown, also brushes, brush stands, aftershaves, hones, cases, soaps, alum blocks, creams, etc. Don't be afraid to take up more space in your home for the never-ending expansion.

It may help to know that the bottles aren't a sign of RAD. I think that's a disorder onto itself.

RAD sort of took care of itself. If you seek out razors of good quality and if your pay attention, you will soon realize that new razors wont necessarily get you better shaves. What gets you better shaves is how good the hone job is on the razor combined with how good your technique is. Focus on those things and you will come to that realization yourselves. But of course that wont cure the i gotta have that razor cause it looks so cool factor nothing will.

I agree with several of the above statements. There is no cure for RAD. The best you can hope for is for it to go into remission and lay dormant for a while. Hopefully before it forces you to go through a bankruptcy or a divorce. Cheers.

I'm not sure there is no cure. In any case, personally I think that acquisition disorders are just that ... a disorder, and therefore serious to some extent. But there are worse acquisition disorders than just razors and shaving related stuff. Think automatic watches, fragrances etc...

I found that I enjoy the hunt more than the big pile of razors so I clean up, hone and resell the ones I don't plan on keeping in my permanent collection.

That is a nice razor to experiment with. Just be patient & take your time. Watch some honing video's & get some nice stones. You will need a lapping plate because new hones don't come lapped. Here's Lynn's YouTube video's along with gssixgun's if you haven't seen them yet:

    Good luck my friend.

The short answer to stopping RAD is to quit SRP....since no one has ever done that, get your credit card limits raised, get a 2d job, and get a private PO Box # at which to receive gear.

If you have a partner or significant other that is enabling you,
approximately what percentage of the budget must you spend on them to maximize your haul?

To deobfuscate is to convert something that is difficult to un͝d̡͝e҉͞r̴͝st̨̕a͘͢n̢̛d̕̕ ̧͝
into one that is simple, understandable and straightforward.
