Drew & Sons
My lovely wife was watching my eBay watch list behind my back. She was sneaky enough to buy this 6/8 Drew & Sons Straight Razor with her account. She got to watch me be all bummed out about it selling so fast. It's what's left from a 7 Day Set marked with Friday on the spine. The scales are made of a natural material that I've always wanted to add to my collection. I'm so stoked and I'm looking forward to reviving it ever so gently.

Would that be in some way related to Drew the foundry Co?

Ah yes! Drew and Sons! Nice one. I have a brace of them. A somewhat silly thread ensued as I completed them!

My affinity towards Friday is from the Robison Crusoe stories. My dad used to call me Friday when we were working on the farm and it wasn't until I read the story that I understood what he meant. Now I have my own Friday...
For the younger crowd on here,
"Friday is one of the main characters of Daniel Defoe's 1719 novel Robinson Crusoe. Robinson Crusoe names the man, with whom he cannot at first communicate, Friday because they first meet on that day. The character is the source of the expression "Man Friday", used to describe a male personal assistant or servant, especially one who is particularly competent or loyal.""The production of to many usefull things results in too many useless people."

Nice razor, that is awesome that she did that! So are the scales Ivory? That's what they look like to me...of course the eBay seller would have called the "natural scales"
