    Default Christmas Gifts

Decided to spend the Christmas money I got from work and family members today. So took a drive after scouting the web for antique shops that were farther away than my normal hunting grounds.
Here's what I put in the game sack.

    Left-Right
A never honed 6/8 Genco , Gold Seal. Full Hollow
A 6/8 R Torrey, 1/2 Hollow with some hone wear, but not bad.
A 5/8 H. Boker, Good as Gold, Full Hollow. Little to no hone wear.
A 5/8 Landers Frary & Clark, Full Hollow, Never Honed
And a 9/16 Magnet Steel (origin unknown) Full Hollow. Also never honed.
After spending several hour searching in that store, I drove to one more that was closing in a hour, so it wasnt going to leave much time to look around,I thought. But it was a small mom n pop store, with not a single shaving item in sight.
But I did find something to store my razors in, with a bit of modification.

Should hold between 20-25 razors in each drawer once I install dividers. Best part was, all were taken on the cheap, under$165
And leaves some for another store this week while on vacation.

Well played sir. I think you will find that Genco an exceptional shaver, hard steel but will take a great edge!

I have a few other Gencos, a 4/8 square point, 5/8 Square point, just recently a 6/8 round point, and today the 6/8 square point .
    Cherish them all.
Imagine this one will be too.

Nice score Mike. All those blades have lots of life in em! Nice dresser box for the blades as well. Like the red felt.

I had something in the works for my razzerz at the house thats half completed, then stumbled upon this.
    Said well... Scratch that idea.

Then after I found the Genco gold seal, I called santas work shop, but the elves sent your belated gift out already.
So that will have to wait, as long as the offer stands. Needs cleaned up some anyhow.
