    Default Daishi 800 Yasuki Tamahagagne

Does anybody have one of these?
Has anyone bought from this seller?
Just won 2 seconds ago. I'm excited. I love the scales.
Any feedback on how it feels on Chosera's/other hones?
I'm sure you'll recognize the style of pics..

I've owned a Dashi western style kamisori grind great little razor and excellent shavers, here's mine I sold it on a while back.

BobH, MJC, Grazor and 4 others like this.

Lucky for you I forgot to put a snipe on that. They are good razors, and for that price you stole it! Congrats.

    Default Odd encounters

I have one, and have honed 5 Western Japanese straights, One of which was a Daishi. The odd part is that each had pronounced asymetry at the toe. Until that was ground out, it wasn't going to give any smiles at all. One no-name that I was skeptical of was endowed with a couple areas of warp. The irony is that although I discovered some creative language in dealing with them, they did yield to the stones, and became excellent shavers. It sorta changed my mind on blades that don't start off well or have visible defects. Others have likely forgotten more about Japanese straights than I'll ever know, but I thought it really odd to get 5 consecutive blades w/ issues.
