Chief Cattarangus
Recent acquisition makes five Cattarangus razors now. Marked Cattarangus Cutlery Co Little Valley, NY on one side of the tang, and B52T on the other. Scales are celluloid faux ivory with chrome bolsters and Chief Cattarangus inlay. This was in pretty good shape to start, so only needed a few minutes on the buffing wheel with red greaseless compound. Honed on a Nanawia 1k and a progression of Welsh stones. Great shave with it last night. This razor is in my top three favorite razors now.

I have a tiny ( 4/8 ) Cattaraugus razor, one of the first I ever bought that I haven't used in forever! Now that my honing abilities have vastly improved, gonna have to dig it out and take it to the hones. Even with the crappy hone job I did on it ages ago it still produced a nice shave.

Very nice acquisition. I saw one on eBay recently unless that's the one. They are excellent shavers! I love American straights.
