Default Picked Up a Neat Bottle But No Pinaud Bottles Yet

I am having quite a time finding a Pinaud bottle in the wild.

Guess the search is part of the fun.

I am just glad I have something to look for when the wife wants to hit a flea market.

This is the newest bottle I picked up...

I should have quit while I was ahead but I saw a can of Styptic Powder, was thinking like a styptic pencil, how interesting....

So, I get it home and see written on it for dehorning, docking or other operation. I am thinking it is not for shaving??

Oh well if not it was only 5 bucks.....

Cool bottle, like the cap! Don't think I ever found a Pinaud bottle at flea market. Mostly at antique/junk shops and they are almost always hidden behind a bunch of pop/perfume/milk bottles!! If you see a bunch of glass, stop and dig around.

Styptic pencils are just a hardened form of styptic powder. I'm not sure what "grade" of styptic would of been used for livestock but it will clot up blood easily enough.

All Pinaud bottles have a habit of making their way to Hirlau in Florida.

Cause this is the Regional Headquarters of the Syndicate. All must be interigated here first,,,, but since all of our holding cells are full at the moment,, I will direct that the next bottle that ends up here, be relocated to the Central Missouri Holding Facility.

That is a nice bottle! I am on the look out for shaving supplies of all types when we are at flea markets or antique stores. Like you mention, it is nice to have something to look for!
