Rarely seen Genco from the W.R. Case Days
Well, here is a rarely seen Genco. I picked it up for $22. Unfortunately it is going to need some slight modification (shorten the blade a little) because someone apparently broke the blade but on the opposite side of the tang it says, W.R. Case & Sons. According to my Knives & Razors book by Jim Sargent, Case bought out Geneva Cutlery in 1935 & only razors marked Genco, Bradford, PA were made & sold until around 1955. Martin mentioned this in another post also. This particular razor is the Fluid Steel model. I hate to butcher this one. It's the only Genco I have that says W.R. Case on the opposite side of the tang although some Red Imp say it on them & I think my Cases Aces is that way also but I would need to find it to verify that.

That is way cool!
Too bad the toe is damaged....but a great score any way you look at it.
Shortening it won't make that much of a difference anyways.....
Is it over there or over yonder?

I have both mint Easy Aces & Cases Aces. I'll have to get them out & take pics of them. I know I most likely showed mine on here. Maybe in the Genco club. I'll keep an eye open for ya.
