Size: 11.4 KB I saw this one come up on the bay and it was cheap. i know the photo is bad but with price cheap and i have time on hand thought i would take a chance on it and if nothing else i can have fun with it or learn some new bad words. any way i'll know more when it gets here. Wade and butcher looks like a squarre point and suppose to be 3/4 with horn scales. Life is like a box of chocolate. some time bitter and some times sweet.

I bought a W & B 8/8 from a very similar picture a couple of years back. The price tag made it worth the risk and it paid off quite nicely. I have also bought a couple of dogs that way too. Sometime the risky one are more exciting.

I love bad eBay photos (when they pay off)
Apart from the broken scale it could be a real diamond ???

Take a look at the case when it comes in. The coffin case had an interesting note about the seller/regrinder service.

I've been known to gamble on bad pics like that. Sometimes you score big, other times, well...

This one came in today. It has some surface rust on the back side that will sand off quickly and the other places will clean up good i think. the scales are horn and i have them coated with oil at the present. in a couple of weeks i'll start on it. the blade has a lot of the original mirrow finish and looks like it's only seen the hone a couple of times. .
