    Default Woohoo

Just won a brand new Pegasus Imperial II Cordovan Latigo Dominator suede strop for 89.00$ + 10.80$ shipping on eBay, I honestly thought someone would come along an outbid me at the last moment but no one did. The only down side is I bid earlier today an then found out I lost my money clip ( a Christmas gift from the wife) with 200$ in it so it looks like I paid almost retail.

Thank you I haven't got it yet still waiting but their strops are beautiful. I only wish it was the Raven as I'm an Edgar Allen Poe fan. So much so that I keep trying to find an win an Edgar Allen & Co straight razor I've found one on eBay but I got beat in the last seconds, but that's the way it goes.

Maybe I'll have better luck because after I won this strop I went back to pay an found that the proceeds help out some relief fund so maybe my good deed will pay off. Not that the strop isn't enough.

Yes they are I've seen a few on eBay an I plan to it just seems that something in better condition or cheaper comes along an I skip that particular model.

Right before I got this strop I picked up a CV Heljestrand mk32 with a slight chip in the center of the blade edge with gorgeous ivory scales that had 2 very small gouges in them that the person filled with a brown glue so I used an exacto to clean it out filled with super glue sanded smooth an fixed the chip for 65$ An free shipping it's incredible. Tomorrow will be my first shave with it (facial hair finally long enough).

But one of those homes will be mine also.

I did some work on a friends mk32 a while back and the I was in awe. Nice solid blades with beautiful lines. The grind was perfect and it was a pleasure to hone. Kind of hard to test shave it with a huge stupid grin on my face. It's now on my "must have" list. You got a great deal on that one.

I bet that would be a bit difficult. I can completely understand you wanting one after holding an shaving with one they really are near perfect, craftsmanship wise.

Mine looked like it had been honed one other time an after I bread knifed it to fix the chip an rehoned it, it still didn't remove a lot of metal from the spine to set the bevel an polish up to shave quality. Truly high quality steel an straight as an arrow.

I truly believe it will be one of my favorite shavers I have 35 razors total as of now an my 3 top razors are my Puma No.1938 5/8 French point, my Hibbard Spencer Bartlett & co with covered tang, an my Puma Dubl duck. I also have a few J.A. Henckels that rank up there with those but those 3 are my top go to razors. For the smoothness of shave given an the quality of the razor.
