Thanked: 9Friedr. Herder Abr.Sohn 50 1"
Picked this up on eBay a few nights ago in the BIN selection. Description just read " Old german razor, 1" wide blade"
I haven't been able to find any info on this particular model though or any other examples.

Very good quality German made razor, looking for one as my next purchase. Should clean up nicely and make you a fantastic shaver. Get it honed by a pro.
I had one a while back but didn't know what I had. One of our soldiers in Afghanistan was looking for a straight razor so I sent it to him.....found out later I let a jewel slip through my fingers!"If You Knew Half of What I Forgot You Would Be An Idiot" - by DoughBoy68

Thanked: 9Thank you. I restore and hone myself, so that wont be an issue. Very excited about this one, especially for the price. Razor and shipping were less than $30! And my wife wonders why I'm always flipping though eBay. This is why.

Thanked: 9Well this arrived yesterday and I found a crack near the toe. I had to remove about 1mm to get past it but it came out nice and still measures just over an inch from the bottom of the hone surface of the spine to the bottom of the new bevel!
