Default 8/8 Wostenholm Rattler Grind Straight Razor

I scored this at the last second on ebay. I apologize to whoever I outbid...lol
Almost got it for $68.00 Oh well.

I love the "heft" of these big razors. It looks like it should clean up well. After my last blunder with Joseph Rodgers set, I'm paying more attention to the condition of the edge of the blade before bidding. It looks alittle rough but I hope I did better with this one.

Now this guy's got a brother

I was watching that one. I was going to fight you for it but I just spent way too much on a big W. Greaves and a Gillette toggle this week(I've got to take the eBay app off of my phone). That Wosty should clean up well. Be sure to post pics when you get done with it.

I used to own one of those. Fairly easy to hone for a heavy grind, and take a great edge. That one should clean up nicely.

That's a very nice score for $68. I've got enough gear for now, so I avoid looking. But if I had been looking, you would have some more competition...

I've been on a spending binge buying my precious metals of choice (lead, copper, and brass) lately. I too have more razors than I'll ever use, so it's good that our dear CMP can get a bargain every now and then.

My wife says she prefers to carry boxes that have razors in them from the mailbox rather than the HEAVY boxes left on the porch lately into the house.
