Thread: Replate my DE,s

I thought I'd post these two razors I have had the old Tech forever and I've been shaving wit a Fatboy for 40 years so they both looked pretty worn and doing not much I decided to bring some glory back to these old tools. If any of you are on the fence about doing this let me tell you just do it! And Chris at razorplate.com would be my first choice. The work he does is extremely fine, the wait time is worth it. Tc
Some history. My Fatboy I had sent to another player in the game, the work is very good no complaints, then upon recommendation I went with Chris for the Gold plating. His process is a lot more thorough and the prep he puts into it leave a flawless finish, I would like to have had my Fatboy done by him , but what I have is fine just not perfect like the Gold Tech. If I ever find the OC Gillette I,m looking for Chris will do it to, Thanks for looking guys. Tc

Those look great TC. Can I ask who did the Fatboy? I'm looking to get a toggle replated and I haven't decided who to send it to. How long was the wait for razorplate.com?

Thanks for you're recommendation TC. I have been in contact with Chris from Razorplate and I'll be sending him these two for some TLC of the rhodium variety.
