That's one hell of a haul! I'm sure you can tell by my avatar that I like the Wester's. I've got both of those blades and they're great shavers. The patina on the Waterville is beautiful! Please don't polish that one.

I hate you man!
Seriously thou, what you have to do is hit a rotation of shops on a regular basis and ask if they have anything shaving related. Have found some nice Bokers, Non XLL, 1 W&B, odd Sheffields and tons of mugs, brushes, bottles. Most shops have a continuous rotation of stuff in and out and you have to be there at the right time to get lucky!
Also, in the short time ( about a year ) I have been addicted, when I have asked local shops if they have anything I get a comment about how many younger people are coming in buying anything shaving related! It is catching on big time and stuff is not languishing in back cases of shops anymore.
BTW, really fantastic stuff and that Hague is the craziest find in the wild! And near NOS stuff is best.
P.S. Tell the truth now, just between you and me! You did rub that damn Avon bottle and there was a Genie in it wasn't there?!

My rotation is going dry, so I've had to expand my search, to less populated areas.
I do have one vendor, that calls me before he puts it on the shelf.
And won't till I've seen it, and made a decision on the items I want. Even gives me 30 days same as cash, if theres alot of stuff.
And another guy is digging through his storage building (Says he has a bunch of stuff, but its scattered in different boxes) putting a "lot" together, and will text me a pic of it, before he takes it to the store. And another who has around 12 straights. She took them back home, because they weren't selling. So location + timing is crucial to good finds, as well as opening your mouth and talking to folks about wet shaving items. Still believe the private citizen, holds the majority of the stuff. And is grabbed up by collectors , antique store owners, in estate sales. Wich I also keep my eyes on as well.
P.s. there was a gennie in the bottle after all. And I didn't use any of my wishes either.[emoji6]Last edited by outback; 02-07-2016 at 05:15 PM.

Your soap is a vintage Surrey shave soap,,, it came with the mug. Very popular in its day; that is a giaint "S" on the soap.
