New Les Latneuses Hybrid Coticule
Been wanting to try one of these for ages. 6 13/16"x 1 15/16". Finally seeing the hybrid layer, it's interesting. If you had a softer coti with flecks of that quartz heavy material in there it would be a disaster, but being continuous changes up the game. Pics coming

This layer can be stunningly beautiful, as the Burton Series #1 formerly owned by a friend. Honing on one has a nice feel, but I've gotten much better performance from my La Veinnettes..
But, every stone is an individual...
I wonder who has that Burton Series LL now?? I'd give alot for that stone! Looking forward to the photos..

Very nice looking stone. I've had a couple of those come and go. Very interesting stones. On both of those I had the hybrid layer was very hard.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

It feels very glassy/quartz-like like quartz and a coticule had a baby. At least it is indeed lapped
