    Default Recent find

    First post, so I'll probably make glaring mistakes. Didn't find much on the site about Gray and Dudley razors, so here is one I purchased this weekend. Houston Dudley's Tickler round point as illustrated in the 1905 Gray and Dudley Hardware, Nashville, TN. catalog.

    I will, my father used to work for the company in the late 20's, so it's a wonderful find for me.

    That is excellent. A great heirloom razor. Just be careful with that etching/gold wash, it can come off in a flash.

    Beautiful scales! Indeed, don't touch the etching if you don't want to mess it up. Just let it get honed and shave with it.
