    How , where was it stored?? Any oil or protection when it was found?

    That is insanely good condition. Was it found vacuum packed in a glass jar with a desiccant pack? Congratulations!

    Lovely razor. The Johnsons I've found in this country were in decidedly poorer condition. Enjoy the shave. I echo Oldnick's comment about the glass jar and desiccant!

    It was an eBay find. It came dry as a bone. It was in a mismatched coffin marked C. H. Mort Newark-on-Trent which was also in excellent condition.

    Insanely good condition, like it just came from the factory. Even the scales look great! I love honey horn where you can see the blade sitting between them when closed.

    Nice! I have a few. My wedge is also in like-new condition with the half-hollow roundpoint one close!

    Don't know anything about them, however!
