Thread: W&B Brass Frameback

Got this little beauty in today. No rust which is awesome but a few bug bites on the wedge end of the scales. So far all I've done is wash it with soap and water. Thinking about how far I want to go with it if anything at all. I do know I want to fix the scales. Just need to find the tutorial on fixing bug bites. If I do have to rescale it or take it apart to fix the scales Im going to replace the lead wedge with a brass one.

It has a nice etched scene on the front side for H. W. Carter. Found this snippet about them.

i can't remember who posted it but someone posted a picture recently of a brass frame back and I just couldn't stop thinking about it. So I had to have one. I just had to... ;-)
