Got This Yesterday in the Mail
I saw this little razor the other day & just had to bid on it. It's the smallest Henckles I've ever seen & it hasn't been chopped down either. It looks like it is all original, a little over 5 " long closed. The cutting edge is around 1 7/8". The first pic is where I have it with a W&B FBU showing how small it is compared to that 8/8" chopper.

Thanked: 4827I have some smaller razors too. My tiny blades were made by Mappin and Web. I also wondered if they might have been women's razors.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Willis, I don't think it is a corn razor but probably like karlej said, made for travel use. I have a vintage Ever Ready tiny shaving brush that was probably made for the same thing. They look perfect together.

Man..!! That thing looks cool[emoji41]
The blade shape reminds me of a Depew, without the tail of coarse.
Sweet grab Steve. [emoji106]Mike

Thanked: 250I have a little Henry Sears like that. In over 40 years that I've owned the thing I have never had a bloodless shave with it. The sadistic little devil is my razor from hell. Both the Sears and my L.&A. Razor Co. shavette sit opened up in their stands grinning at me with a evil look to them. If you shave with it Engine46 do be careful.........I really don't want to see you end up in the ER.

Thanks Mike & Benz. Yeah, I sure don't want to end up in the ER either. I've already spent enough time in hospitals due to drunk drivers & such! As long as I'm above ground & upright, I'm okay. I must say though, I really like this little thing! I might not say that after shaving with it but I'll see.

Corn razors are much smaller. Heres my Joseph Eillot corn razor next to a Joseph Elliot FBU 8/8.
