    Default First Kamisori

Picked up a couple of Kamisori to play with. Quite small in hand, the shorter one is not much longer than a DE edge. I like them. Gonna have to get a left handed one eventually. Oh no, here we go. I can feel a case of KAD coming...

I bet the balance in the hand is a little different too. Nice pair to play with, be careful :<0)

Nice one! Kamisoris are great to play with and the edges you can get are phenomenal.
Im left handed and use both sides with both hands as I found it difficult to just use the unstamped side to my fizzogg with my non dominant hand.

Well I hope they are easier to master than chopsticks. Absolutely useless at using them...

They are easy enough if you use both sides to shave with. Maybe Im doing my kamis a great disservice by not following the traditional method of just using the omote- unstamped side but unfortunately I cant find a left handed kami by a reputable maker.
Either way I love my kamis and hope you will too.

    Have fun!

Nice pick up! I also just got one and it is a lot different than using a straight. Just the slightest miscue and bam you're bleeding. becareful and good luck.

    Hint:

If you like using both sides while shaving, you might try adjusting the ratio when honing closer to a 1:1 this will adjust the minuscule angle on the edge, and might get you a slightly more comfortable shave

Not saying it will,,, just try it and see

Thank you, I have a lot to thank you for your honing kamisoris vids.
I usually go 10:1, 7:1, 3:1, and finish very light laps 1:1 going up in grits respectively.
