Couldn't Resist
Saw this one and gave it try. With luck i won it and now the wait for delivery and anticipation of how it will really look has set in. The 5/8 i received last week is a good razor but it is light weigh compaired to a wedge or near wedge 6/8. I'll have to decided which to keep and which to pass alone. I believe this one will clean up good and should hone well. anyway i'll find out when it gets here.

Nice score there. Beautiful lines and just has to be a keeper.

I really don't have the skills that some of the members have here but i believe that i can clean this one up so it will look presentable. One of these days i'll luck up and be able to own a real keeper like i've seen here on the forum.

I got it honed today. i used the naniwa 1-3-5-8-12K SS hones and then finished with the suehiro 20K. Stropped on linen and then England bridel strop . Used SRP Sweet Patchouli soap and this razor shaved great. Very smooth and close. This one is indeed a keeper.
