Default Grim find at Flea market

I about swallowed my cud when I opened a nondescript box and this came out. I was hoping they would not know, but they knew just enough for it to be expensive, but still much less than I was willing to go for this condition. Fellow said that it and some other junk razors in boxes were found behind a wall during a demolition. Who knows why they were there, but it kept this one pretty durned pristine. The scales and inlays are perfect, and there is very light blade scratching and minor corrosion. The only other things I found all weekend were some Autostrop safety razors....gee what a washout

Whether or not the story of how they were found was true, it's a great find!
    Congrats!

Congratulations. You made a terrific find. You might want to consider a professional restore for that beauty. These are fairly rare
    and is a definite keeper.

I'm going to keep it until I have "honed" my skills and practiced everything in relation to restoring a razor like this. If I never gain confidence, out it goes to a pro. So far all I have done is rouge cloth the blade to get an idea of the slight problems. Nothing mechanical will touch this until I assess my skills and its problems. There are no problems with the scales, and the only question there for me is to keep patina, or polish.

Oh yes, but I have probably used up my luck for a while.

Not going anywhere, and the slight restoration needed is within my skills, but will test every move elsewhere before touching it.

Please do not attempt to restore this until you have absolute confidence in your skills.
This is NOT a razor to be kinda okay and attempt to restore.
