    Default Joseph Rodgers congress!

I just wanted to show show off my latest blade score, in this case a Joseph Rodgers and Son congress with stag covers. It came in good condition, it just needed some cleaning and sharpening to be good to go
it is a "his majesty" era knife, which I believe means 1900-1910. The stamps are clear on all 4 blades, and the action is perfect!!

Class act for sure. The stag on the knives of that era was awesome. The "rat tail" bolsters was another feature that went away due to production costs as well as the iron pins holding it together. The way the "kicks" ( tang area of the blades ) were made also changed and most of the double swedge on the back of the blades went away as well. Not my favorite style of pocket knife to carry, but that one is a beauty.
