Superb looking razor!
I've been wondering this for awhile, and it could be embarrassing to ask (if in fact I actually could be embarrassed), how do the makers of this era of Japanese razors make such a fine hollow grind with such a beefy spine? Is it simply the metal that is above the part of the spine that sits on the hone?
And yes, I really like the heft combined with a fantastically thin grind....Optometrist and Phrank like this."Call me Ishmael"
