Massive 8/8 Ragg
A new acquisition, this razor by John Ragg & Sons is a heavy 8/8 in almost pristine condition from the 1820s. The bevel is still incredibly small. It's not marked Magnum Bonum but is very similar in style to those (typically etched on the top of the spine).

That's a very cool razor. I especially like the tiny jimping on the tang.

Nice find. I think most of the large razors like that I've seen are either barely used or heavily honed. Not much in the middle for them. Must have been hiding in the back of a drawer. Nice to see razors doing what they are intended for.
