    Cool 7 day set

Told my wife that I was making my own version of a custom 7 day set.
I have one more coming that will be my crowned jewel. More to come on that one later.
Im almost satisfied but I still may change a few out or add one or two more to complete my set.
I kept my first feather straight/shavette that got me started. Just can't bare to part with it.

    A great selection of razors!!

I also have my own version of a 7 day set now. I don't believe in matching.

    Ha ha!!

I did this very thing. I got 7, 4/8's, all with metals from different regions. Then I thought I should try some more ... the rest is history and what can only be called a collection.

That said - One day I will re-scale or have someone rescale seven of them to match and make them a "true-ish" 7 day set... one day.

    Nice collection Suticat!

Me either, variety is the spice of life. I'm the same way with golfing. Hate playing the same course over and over and over again.

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with it. I'm still having trouble counting to seven though.

Not a bad idea. I've got three identical Tanifuji's so I'm almost half way there. Easy enough to find four more...

    Pretty awesome set!
I absolutely love the variety of horn that was used on the scales!

Nice set. I started with a couple razors and said to myself that I might as well have 7, one for each day of the week. Than I said to myself I might as well have 2 7 day sets. Than I was going to make another one, but decided to take it slower. I have actually been keeping good on keeping my razor numbers down. I usually just try to change out my razors every so often. That way I can keep trying different makers and models without collecting to many. Really hard to do since I never want to get rid of any and the fact that I want to try them all doesn't help. Same goes with soaps. Have to be careful since it gets addicting and everyone on this site are enablers. I have to blame it on someone.

Im always on the look out for something different. Sometimes the horn I find isn't always suited for making scales and sometimes it's a home run. You never know until you try.
