I'm not sure what year the razor is but is says. Founded by (signed) Lynn Abrahams November 21,2000. So I would think anytime after that but I'm really not sure. It could be that they were made in 01 after he founded it maybe someone that purchased one new will know the exact date or maybe Lynn will chime in as I'm sure he had them made for the site.

Do yourself a big favor. Make sure you dry the blade well and do not keep it in the leather case. I have had three customers that had rust problems due to improper drying and storage in leather case. It's a beauty, enjoy many years of shaves.

I didn't plan to keep it in the leather just showing it off for all to see. This is the 50 something razor in my collection an I don't store any in their cases or pouches.

Thank you I hope it gives me years of great shaving too.

Very nice score. You do not see them available very often. You did well, Enjoy.

I want to say these came in around 2004. They were commissioned by the late Ray Dupont of Classic Shaving prior to his death to commemorate SRP being the first Straight Razor and really Wet Shaving forum in the world. We had 200 of them made and they are beautiful shavers. I still have #1. They are pretty special razors!!

Thank you sir I wasn't sure how many were made as mine only says #39 it doesn't say 39 of, so I wasn't really sure.

An yes they are special being a part of this forum an having one is awesome I will either know later tonight or tomorrow how well it shaves. Now if I could only get my hands on one of the other ones that (Tim Zowanda?) made I would be as happy as a pig in s#!t!!!

There was one in the classifieds a month or two ago (the newer SRP razor)
