I wish i could show but i can tell
I saw a Henckel #42 on the bay and the photos were not that good. The add said shave ready so i messaged the seller and ask what the blade measured and about the rust if any. They messaged me back and said it was 3/4 and rust free. I made a bid a little lower than the asking price not thinking i would get it. I got it. If it's what was advertised i got lucky. I still need to quit this. Oh and i tried to save the photo and couldn't . not being good with computers i didn't want to say ok to what ever the program was asking.
The seller is using something called Auctiva with the photos and i can't seem to put it on the thread. The ebay no is 231964063952 if anyone wants to see it before i get it and if you can post it on this thread or tell me how that would be good.Last edited by rhensley; 06-02-2016 at 02:13 AM.

Thanked: 98Did you happen to ask the seller what finish hone was used? I ask because some say they are shave ready and they aren't, so I always ask what hone was used, if they can't tell you it is an indicator that the razor may not be as advertised.
Best of luck and I hope it comes to you ready to shave.

Looks like another nice snag! Very good price range for a high quality razor. It shouldn' t take much to clean her up, some good quality metal polish should work. As far as some seller' s ' Shave Ready' or 'Passes HHT Test' description goes I pay absolutely no attention to that because unless they are a straight razor shaver themselves they are in no position to determine sharpness. I pay more attention to pics of the edge and if it looks fairly good l will then consider buying.

The razor came today and i believe that it has never been honed. it was a little dirty but cleaned up with minimal work. I buffed it just a little and used some simi-chrome on it and now honing. can't wait to use it.

Here is the Henckel . I haven't shaved with it yet. waiting for enough growth the test it. for me it's just about a 2 day beard.
