Finally able to post some pictures. Some pitting remains, lost the gold wash but overall happy with it. Scales are acrylic. I saved the logo on the old scales I will try and attach it. A hone and a shave is next. Thanks for looking.

That's sweet looking! Nice job man. I bet you can't wait to try it out. More about the logo... hard to see in the first picture, is it made from thin metal or something? How are you planning to remove/reattach it? I really hope it works, that would look awesome. Please update about it if/when you get around to it.

Thank you I appreciate it. Yes it's a thin metal omega. It came right off the old scales. I am going to attempt to glue it on. I just need it to come out right. I will post pictures.

I glued it on not in the spot that I wanted. I didn't want to ruin it so there it lies. Set the bevel with a king 1k, honed it on a coticule, finished on an Escher hit the leather. It gave a nice smooth shave. Going to use it again tonight. Thanks.

Fantastic job! Love the scales. I have a #13 still in original scales which is my favorite razor, love the shave.

At first I was intimidated even thinking about transferring inlays but after a little research it didn't turn out to be that hard. Getting the inlay off the old scales is easy and placing them on the new scales isn't that hard if you are careful and take your time.

This is my first Filly and the shave is amazing. Really easy to hone. 2 pass BBS shave. It's very similar to hollow ground Swedish razors. I see more in my future. I got that for $20 off ebay. I'm looking for a Doble temple 14. Thanks.

Seems to be in great working order again. Scales are nice also. Nice touch with the logo transfer.
