Default Wade and Butcher pen knife!

I am a collector of sharp tools, so I have lots of knives to go with my razors I find Joseph Rodgers knives fairly frequently, but until now I had never even seen a Wade and Butcher. A friend of mine emailed me out of the blue because he knows I love vintage knives and had found some. I called him and he was reading the tang stamps when he got to the the W and B... I quickly asked if he could send it my way!

It is in terrific condition, with no rust and great snap on both blades. The tang stamps are nice and clear too

That is a beauty. I've seen a W&B rope knife, and a W&B hawkbill, but that is about it. Both of those on the bay years ago.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Here's my W&B "Boone" hunting knife. They also made a stainless version according to my Tweedales Directory but it but it was called the Teddy. The Boone was the carbon steel equivalent. Some carried the Manitou & Pioneer names. I thought I showed it some time back but I couldn't find the pic in my photo's. I may have deleted it.
