Thread: Simpsons Polo 10

Ive wanted a new brush for a while now but its been difficult to justify since I had a perfectly serviceable Persian Jar 3. Last week the opportunity presented itself and I jumped on it. So what do I got? Well, I wanted a brush that was a step up from my PJ3. The PJ3 is a great overall brush. My only complaints were what when I was lathering in a deep bowl, I found that I was always getting lather all over the handle and my fingers. My hands are big so I wanted a generous handle. Check that. I also wanted a slightly larger knot. Check that. And I wanted to give Simpson's super badger a go. Check that. Overall, its definitely a step up from the PJ3. Its a much larger brush. I had once toyed with the idea of getting a PL12 or PL14 and was wisely talked out of that by a gentleman at Simpsons who guaranteed me that the PL10 was huge. And so it is.







The knot is said to be the same size as the Chubby 2 but perhaps less dense. I don't have a CH2 so I will have to assume they are more dense than this.
