Franklin C co cleaned and ready for hone
Scored this off ebay awhile back and just done getting the little rust off the blade and cleaning the scales. There is a slight discoloration on the scales that I can not get to budge. I used tooth paste on the scales and got the black gunk from all the little nooks and crannies but the discoloration on the back is still there. But all in all pretty happy with it.

Nice razor, great job cleaning it up. Looks good to go! One of these days I gotta get something with fancy scales like that...

I am by no means a hone master but I think I got er done now for test shave in the next couple days. I love the scales I wish they were rare ones I hear they can go for big money but I will enjoy my neked lady picking grapes thanks for looking and the kind words.

I have a similar pair of scales hanging somewhere, and the material, as yours, is this white stuff. It don't smell camphor, is harder and clicks different when compared with my celluloid ones. Feels as hard as bakelite, but is whiter than celluloid. Could be casein, but they don't smell like it. What could this plastic be?

I am honestly not sure what the material is Matheus, I was talking to gssixgun the other day about another razor of mine and asked about this one and I know he said a word like 3 times that I had never heard and for the life of me I can not remember what it was.

Well I did get this little beaut honed and it took arm hair off like it was nothing, my beard is more stout than that and she did awesome this morning after work with that as well. I actually think I enjoy this razor more than my others, its not as hollow ground.
