old W&B
Mail man just dropped this off. Needs some love. I will do a very gentle clean up on the blade and rescale this one.
Here she is among long lost relatives. A couple others that I have.

Cleaned that W&B up some. It has a nice patina to it and the markings on the blade look nice and clear so I have decided to leave her the way she is . Just a good cleaning, a little never dull , and a wipe down with the gun cloth and that one and the Waterville will get put back together with some new scales.
I really liked that Barbers Rattler the first time I saw it, it shows its age, but still looks good. I will update pics when I put it back together....Blade looks better, but she got me!

I still have a scar on my pointer finger from a very stupid incident years ago. Last few months I have taken chunks out of my nails, but no serious cuts....knock on wood.
Nice blade!

yep I imagine I am among good company here, I figured a few could relate. All good, it'll be fine, still bends as advertised, but that white bit looked tendony, a little concerning on my trigger/typing finger lol
Saturday morning coffee and mock ups. I have some jet black horn for the W&B and the blade still needs polishing but wanted to take a look with some scales on them.
Some maple on the Waterville and the snakewood on the W&B seemed fitting this morning.
