If I'm not mistaken we have a member (Don Wiss?) here on SRP who is a descendant of the J. Wiss & Sons family.

Tom, I know what ya mean about the brownish color. Sometimes it takes a little TLC to bring 'em back to jet black. I've done it by just buffing until it was black again. That was surely a nice score. I think I have one laying around too but I have never seen a Wissdom.
