    Default Rain day finds.

My boss had me out doing rainy day errands today, and it just so happened my last stop for the day was 5 min from some antique stores. I also had two $50s in my wallet that Grams gave me for my birthday. Here's what I walked away with.

The Gillette tech has 2 heads...... Weird. Both are pre war heads, so I've been told by the Safety razor crew. They have the triangular slots on the under side.

All the blades were all stuffed in with the Super speed razor, which are very cool. Really cool that there was a brand new GEM blade that's in perfect condition. The EKS, Gold Krone is also in great shape and should clean up very well.

Also in with the blades were some Listo leads. Not sure what these were used for, but I know it's not for shaving

I just thought of this, but the GEM blade seems small. Hmmmmm.

I seem to recall seeing some at an antique store awhile back. I'll probably do some perusing this weekend and will keep an eye out

Nice finds! I like that straight razor a ton, looks like new. Good for finding stuff at the antique store, I'm glad you stopped there - you never know what's inside unless you check!

    Also, Happy Birthday!

Listo Leads are just that,,, "lead" for writing like , at least some research indicates,,, not shaving related.
