Size: 13.3 KB I placed a bid on this one and won it. It's a Dorfwych Razor. J H Browne made in England but ground in Germany . Really don't know much about it but onced cleaned up and honed I'll see if it shaves good. I don't know but think i know what the scales are but if wrong they still look good. The blade is suppose to have a small amount of rust on the tip. I couldn't see it in the photos so I hope it cleans up good. I have some 5/8 Sheffields on the way so that will give me some play time.

I think you did well again. I think that I think that I know what you think that those scales are and I think you are right.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

The add didn't say so I'm guessing it is 5/8 maybe 11/16 but really hoping it's 6/8. It was one of seven. Saturday inscribed on the spine. Waldorf hotel on the blade. Makes you wonder how the set got split up.

This one arrived today at about 1:30 PM and it was cleaned up by 2:15 PM. I got the hones out and went through the 1-3-5-8-12K naniwa and then the 20K. I had a 2 day old beard so i tried it out. It turned out to be a 5/8. The shave was ok. I could tell it wasn't one of my larger blades But it did ok. The scales were Ivory and pins good and tight. Now i have to decide if i will keep it or not. There was a spot of rust on the tip which came off good. left a small dark spot but no pit. got lucky on that. I'll post photos when the last razor gets here and i've cleaned them up.
