Size: 17.0 KB I made offers on these and my offer was taken. The first is Wostenhlome 5/8 I think. both sides look ok. The scond one is joseph rodgers 5/8 and both sides look about the same. The last is a joseph rodgers and i believe the scales are Ivory. This side has a crack from the hinge pin to the tip. I disassembled it today and have the scales soaking in my cleaning solution. When the crack diapears i'll do something with it. The blade has a few very small pits after cleaning the rust off it and almost no hone wear. I'm trying to decide if i will use wet dry to remove the small pits. it's hollow ground and thin. any way here they are.

Nice find, I agree that the scales look like Ivory. Joseph Rodgers are my favorite razors, enjoy your new toys

I have a set of scales just like these off a razor the same size that are perfect. when the other one get's here i will clean it up and choose the best one for the good scales and then try to repair or epoxy the one with the crack . I want keep them all but will try them all. I enjoy this hobby it's not as expensive as some of my other ones.

Some 600 wet and dry will give you a good idea of how deep the pits are and then you can decide if you want to get more aggressive.

600 scratches easily sand out with 1k paper and 1or 2K polish well with metal polish or a buffer with Chrome Oxide or white rouge.

    Nice find.

The wosty came today and although the blade is ok the scales are pitiful. I will disassemble and try to salvage.

The joseph Rodgers with faux turtle shell came today. It was pretty much what i expected. the scales at the hinge pin was over drilled and pop riveted so reusing the scales are over. The blade was in very good shape. No rust little to no wear just some patina. I polished the blade and it looks pretty good. I have a set of Ivory scales that i was going to use. It was my bad luck that the blade is a little too long. But that's ok because i have a set of black scales i can use. It just want look as good to me.

Just Thought about it. I will mix some of the epoxy and fill the holes and try to re drill them. might work. we are only talking about a few thousands.
