The bone handled Kamis are nice as well and may be my next acquisition. Beautiful stuff for sure and reasonably priced for the quality and workmanship. He uses my collars and am proud of it!

Thanked: 17I'm not sure how to ask this delicately and with tact, but what kind of ballpark is he in pricewise? I'm sure it depends a lot on the specifics of what you want, and i understand if you dont want to throw out a dollar figure. Maybe in terms of other razors out there? Where are we talking in the range from dovo to TI, Artrazor, koorat, wacker, snail forge? I'm looking to get a custom but don't want to waste his time if I'm out of my league. Thanks for what direction you can give me.

I am only familiar only with Koraat and believe he is comparable in both price and quality. He sells on eBay at this site herrlac on eBay . You can see his prices. He states that you can ask him for his "buy it now" price, presumably somewhat cheaper. He will also customize whatever you may need but you will need to send him an annotated drawing, as I did. Hope this is helpful. Austin

Thanked: 17Thanks guys, not sure why I haven't come across him on the bay yet. So nice to have people so eager to help. For those of you that have posted pics of yours you all got great pieces of functional art and what could become family heirlooms.

Thanked: 17Funny he doesn't tell you scale material, he just says "scales are fine". Must be a quirk between Hungary and us. He's not lying though, the scales do look fine.
