New RSO
My new purchase. Not expecting much from the edge but had to get it since it is my last name.
Will probably just be a display item next to a Voss water bottle.

I think voss means fox in flemish if I recall. Could be wrong though

I honed it and shaved with it. As suspected, the edge didn't last. First pass was ok, second was less than desirable. I had to finish with another razor. Lost of micro-chipping on the edge. It will be a display piece only.

Sorry to hear it did not perform.
I would give it another go on the stones before abandoning hope. I have seen blades come back from the dead with a little extra effort. Can't hurt.If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

I bought a pocket knife once because the designer was called Paul and it had Paul etched on the blade. Luckily for me though it turned out to be one of the best knives I own and the company has since ceased trading so I was glad that I picked it up when I did.
