7/8 Masonic Etched Wade & Butcher
Not the greatest shape but I'll take a masonic etched W&B any day
I hope everyone is doing well. It's been busy at the NFL.

I wonder if either of the Butcher brothers were Masons? I see a few Masonic etched W&B's...but not a ton of them out there. Just wondering if anyone knows. I see Lynn wears a Masonic ring in his honing videos, I'm assuming he is a fellow brother. ?!?!

It's a pretty common thing from the period to see on razors actually, spanning a large number of well-known and not-as-well-known makers. Wostenholm, W&S Butcher, E.L.& Co, T. Ascher, Greaves, Wostenholm, Sutcliffe, Taylor, Elliott, Champon, Marshes & Shepherd, Ashton Jackson, Savage, etc. (That was just from a quick trolling of google).

Really cool razor Cheetah. I have 3 masonic razors & I like 'em a lot. One is a James Johnson, a W&B & a Frederick Reynolds.
The W&B is going to clean up real nice one day.

Thanked: 17I have a wostenholm masonic, it's my best shaver but needs new appropriate scales (it came with plastic replacement scales on it). Masonic etching is faint, sort of can only see it from certain angles, wondered if that was normal or intentional.
