Default 2 Raggs from Sheffield, oh my...

    Hi Gents,

Here's a recent mal call, two straight from John & Willam Ragg ! The first one :

Very interesting, the spacer continues underneath the razor blade to end up at the shoulder, all in one piece of metal... The blade is near mint, a few passes on the strop and the shave was awesome !

The second Ragg is a "Napoleon", and I must say, quite the looker :

Back is shiny, blade has a satin effect, with a flourish decor made by acid engraving. Curved tang shows a tiny droplet, which I love. There were some dents on the edge, so I sent it to a fellow member for restoration. And it got back yesterday :

Pics make it look like a butter knife, but it's actually VERY thick, I could hammer nails with it !

Tried it this morning, very nice ! SOTD picture will come tomorrow. With better pictures as well, it deserves it. :P

Incredible razors without a doubt, that Napoleon is simply stunning, beautifully shaped razor and looks like a solid wedge...did you get these at a Flea Market or from eBay?

Those are cool, especially the Napoleon. You have a good hunting spot!

These appear to be part of the collection that is being sold on EBay - I bid on a couple myself but was way out. There are some very fine examples and many of them were reported as unused.

My service is good, fast and cheap. Select any two and discount the third.

I got lucky in finding those at the same source as this ebay seller's, they were one of the very few he didn't take apparently ! I only had the budget for this lot, and I'm very happy
