    Very cool clever design! How about a tin lamp shade? Something like this one?

    Thanks, and yes the touch still works, the only draw back is when i grab a razor it dims (it's a 3 way switch) or turns off!

    I thought of that, in fact originally it was all set up for a lamp shade. i like the look of the Edison bulb so i went with the shade-less look. who knows, it's still evolving and depending on what i find in the thrift stores/garage sales it may some day take on a new look.

    Nice imagination. Maybe the heat from the lamp will keep the moisture away too!

    i was kind of hoping the static charge that runs through a touch lamp would have some magical effect on the edges of the razors!
