I thought of that, in fact originally it was all set up for a lamp shade. i like the look of the Edison bulb so i went with the shade-less look. who knows, it's still evolving and depending on what i find in the thrift stores/garage sales it may some day take on a new look.

A tin lamp shade for tintin!
Nice imagination. Maybe the heat from the lamp will keep the moisture away too!
