Thread: Two "new" toys to play with

I got these two toys over the weekend and I've been playng with them all this time. Another pic.
One came all the way from Germany and the other from pensilvania.Ha ha!
I ordered the thuri bout about two weeks ago and I found the SR Droescher
Quick and easy a couple of days ago so I could practice some more( only had one at the time, a SR Droescher #79). The good, bad thing was it came shave ready. Guess i need to buy another one.lol! To practice that is.
On the good side is i've gotten a lot better and my edge has really improved.

Those SRD razors are some excellent razors. You don't want to practice on that one unless it already has been honed a few times but if it has minimal hone wear, I would get something else. That is where the highly sought after Escher hones come from. The name Escher comes from Drescher.
