    Default Vacation find

Picked up my second George Ibberson Firth Stainless razor on vacation. Can't pass these by because they are an early stainless razor and were imported by the T Eaton Co. . I am guessing that they were sold post WWI, possibly starting in the 1920s/30s by Eatons. It has hone wear and was a little heavily hone at the toe. Just took a quick polish with Never Dull and a honing to get it back in service for this mornings shave. Nice shave it was too.

Nice looking razor. The stamp on the tang is pretty unique.

Thanks. Which stamp, the Ibberson one or the T Eaton one?

The Iberson caught my eye. They really put a lot into a tiny space.

Yes, they sure did and quite neatly too. The Strad is the company trade mark apparently.
