    Default Incredible Luck Prevails

Day two only turned up two notables. An Engels LEADER in the box, and seemingly unused, and a nice horn scaled blade from the mysterious M.J. Higgins -- 13/16 near wedge with almost non-existent pitting. The Higgins should clean up easily and the Leader will require nothing but Blue Magic or MAAS and a quick stropping -- the edge easily shaves arm hair. I had a blue ribbon weekend........need to buy a lottery ticket before my luck is zeroed. Once again, less than optimal photos, but really tired again.

I merely stropped the Engels about 30 on CrO2, and 40 on leather and slid through a 3 day growth of grizzle like it wasn't there. I was considering turning it, but not now..... at least not for now. Wonderful shaver.

The Engels is exactly what I like, it would be a keeper for me as well

I have an M.J. Higgins & I love it. Nothing like those old Sheffield razors. Nice score.

Both are great finds. If you use any polish on the Leaders scales do not get any on the red paint. It will come right off. Ask me how I know. If it does come off, a fine tipped red sharpie will fix her back up.
