Thank you for all the kind words. I didn't intend to have so many razors rescaled, but after I saw the first one finished in Quilted Maple I was hooked. Right now I am really enjoying the ERN in Amboyna, it reminds me of cream just poured into coffee, fitting for a morning shave, eh?

Alfredo kept things very traditional with silver pins and washers. The scales are modeled off the originals with the exception of the Brian Brown razor. The ERN and CVH were both ebonite and the smell really killed the zen of the morning shave, so it had to go.

I told Alfredo that this really took my collection to the next level. As Phrank said its a personal touch, my stamp on something, now they mean a little more to me. Anyways, thanks again for all the nice comments. I am glad you guys enjoyed seeing them.

I really like that they were modeled after the originals. I'm not a fan of outrageous modern shaped scales. The wood on these also remind me of a celluloid pattern like on some Dorko straights. These have to be my absolute favorite wood scales ever.

What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

You do good work, I really like the darker woods. Something warm about them. PM coming, you aren't too far from me.

Wow, those are just stunning-I love highly-figured tropical woods on razors!

Was that inlay transferred? Can you feel it?

Yes, Alfredo lifted the inlay and then simply placed it on the surface of the new scales and used twice the number of CA layers he normally uses to bring the finish up and over the inlay. No, I cant feel it at all.
