Default Derby silver company of Connecticut

Been keeping my eye on this for over a year now, but didn't want to spend the chedder that was being asked for it.

Talked to the store owner to see if he could reach the seller, and gave him a price offer (reasonable) ..."EXCEPTED"!!

He thought the silver was peeling off, and there are a few small spots that are.
But actually, someone had coated it in clear or something, and where it peeled up it was tarnished.
Its cleaning up nicely, and can't wait to try it out. Looking at the brush n all, I'd say I'm the first to use it.

And to top it off, this caught my eye on the way to the registrar, still in its original bag, so it followed me home too.

Wondrous find...and...appropriation! All comes to him who waits. Some take a serious long time but oh so nice when they come due!

Well the strop isn't exactly perfect, its been used a little, and harbors some fine scratches, but not noticeable to the touch. Don't see it giving me any problems, when stropping.
